Cadac rebrands as Cadac Consoles and Cadac Immersive business units and launches new product line

In a strategic move to redefine its presence in the professional audio industry, the pro-audio brand Cadac is dividing into two distinct, independent business units, reflecting the current evolution of its product development activities; namely Cadac Consoles and Cadac Immersive.

Cadac Consoles will retain its focus on the development of advanced digital audio mixing systems, with product development, sales and brand management remaining firmly in the UK. The business is rebranding under a new logo and corporate identity, with a renewed product offering, along with a new website.

Cadac Consoles effectively paused commercial activity at the outset of the Covid-19 emergency, retiring its previous CDC series product lines, but continuing the development work on a new-generation product line. The near three-year R&D program has brought to fruition a new Cadac Consoles flagship product line, the CM-Series.

The new CM-J50 96 input, 56 bus live mixing console and range of compact “intelligent” remote stage racks, together with a new iPad app and offline editor, comprise the initial release phase of the CM-Series mix platform. Offering robust new hardware and a further evolution of the Cadac user interface, the system provides greater connectivity, control, and flexibility in a familiar form factor that is significantly faster, smaller and lighter than its forebears.

Cadac Immersive, headquartered at its Beijing R&D facility, will focus on marketing its range of proprietary standalone immersive audio products. Leveraging technologies and industry expertise in audio spatialisation, it aims to cater to the growing demand for immersive and 3D audio experiences across theatre, fixed installation and cinema applications.
