Auf Intiiative des seit rund 30 Jahren erfolgreichen Veranstaltungstechnik-Dienstleisters PAM Events mit seinen Geschäftsführern Thomas Moritz und Thomas Fenzl investierte ein Zusammenschluss diverser Berliner Verleiher gemeinsam in ein Upgrade ihrer Lichttechnik. Die Wahl fiel auf insgesamt knapp 100 LED-Fresnel-Scheinwerfer der Ovation-Serie von Chauvet Professional.
"Nach intensiven Tests stießen wir während einer von Chauvet durchgeführten Roadshow auf die Ovation-Serie. Diese überzeugte uns letztlich alle, sodass wir uns dazu entschlossen, unsere Halogen-Fresnels mit den LED-Modellen Ovation F-265WW (48 Stück), F-55WW (24) und E-260WW (24) zu ersetzen", erläutert Thomas Moritz die Entscheidung.
Who is Who der Berliner Szene
Der genannte Zusammenschluss besteht neben PAM Events aus weiteren in der Berliner Szene etablierten Firmen wie Lichtwerk, Audio + Frames, Spice Event, Huth Events, Edelmat, Wemme Events und Atlantis Veranstaltungstechnik, die zusammen seit Jahren eine Cross-Rental-Partnerschaft pflegen.
Vor allem das Warmweiß und die weichen Kanten, die sehr dicht an die alten Vorgänger herankommen überzeugten alle Beteiligten. Auch Aspekte wie die aufgrund der LED-Technik reduzierte Wärmeentwicklung und der geringere Wartungsaufwand bei deutlich effizienterem Energieeinsatz sind Vorteile gegenüber den klassischen Fresnels und trugen zur Entscheidung bei.
